We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver/Warehouse Associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience operating box trucks or work trucks and a valid DOT medical card to join our operations team. This hybrid role involves operating company vehicles for local deliveries and supporting daily warehouse activities. Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks to deliver products to customers and partners. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations. Ensure goods are properly secured during transport. Follow assigned routes and schedules, adhering to traffic laws and company safety procedures. Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups Provide excellent customer service during deliveries Operate; forklifts, pallet jacks, hand-trucks and other loading equipment Maintain a clean and organized vehicle. Report any incidents/occurrences with vehicle/property/injury/safety etc.
Warehouse Operations:
Receive, inspect and document incoming shipments. Pick, pack and prepare products for transportation. Assist with loading, unloading, and staging of goods and materials. Help maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment. Maintain inventory accuracy using tracking systems and report any inventory discrepancies or damage. May be responsible for creating shipping labels or managing inventory tracking
Other Duties:
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and other departments. Ability to identify and mitigate safety risks on the road and in the warehouse Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including safe driving practices, proper lifting techniques and use of Personal Protective Equipment. Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record Current DOT medical card and/or the ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening and background check Excellent communication skills Experience in warehouse and/or delivery roles Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures. Basic computer skills (Outlook-Email/Electronic logging systems/ Microsoft Office-general knowledge, Mobile Apps, GPS) Inventory system familiarity a plus. Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to become certified) During busy seasons, weekend availability is required.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds regularly; heavier loads may require team lifting or equipment. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling and climbing in both warehouse and delivery settings Exposure to varied weather conditions while driving and loading/unloading Work may take place in hot, cold, dusty or noisy environments depending on the season and location Comfortable working in fast-paced settings with tight deadlines May be required to operate machinery or perform tasks at varying heights using ladders or lifts.
