Job Description
Reference #: 721665988Hours are Monday – Thursday 4:00pm – 2:30am.
Bring materials from warehouse to winding shop.
Put materials back in warehouse.
In the event the lead is gone for the day, fill in as back-up lead.
Stage winding supplies to correct location.
Assist winders in setting up machines.
Moving materials within the shop to stage for machine setup.
Collect and sorts complex material.
Utilize radio to make communication with winding shop.
Follow work orders and update inventory to present to Winding Supervisor.
Weigh wire prior to returning to inventory.
Strip wire prior to pressing.
Move coils to stacking department.
Stripping of all aluminum wire before sending to press/ovenAssist paper cutter/foil slitter/buss bar as neededHigh School or GED preferredOSHA10 certified, preferred1 year experience in paint manufacturing, preferred1 year experience material handling equipment (forklift, crane, etc.), preferredKnowledge of basic hand tools preferredA proven track record in safety excellence is required.
Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization. Notify management immediately of any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or injuries.
Ability to read and interpret work orders.
Meet department and production goals set by supervisor.
Ensure product quality meets company and client expectations.
Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, cooperative attitude, strong attention to detail and can work in a team environment.
Adheres to the company’s employee handbook policies and embodies the organization’s core values.
Ability to learn other department job functions and fill in as needed.
Complete company compliance and safety training when required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
