In this role you will focus on:

Responsibilities:

Batch paperwork by aisle for supply to the steel shop (wood shop is batched by scheduler) Pull doors, inserts and lites after scanning work order with a hand-held scanner Stage material in the correct order to supply the shop – inserts on cart to match the order of the doors Assure constant production flow by stacking material appropriately Make inventory adjustments when indicated Communicate constantly with the production scheduler, shop supervisor and department manager to assure continuing production in the shop . Use of forklift and order picker required

Qualifications:

Must be able to read and understand English Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to follow oral and written communication from supervisor, lead or co-worker Forklift and order picker experience Specialty Building Products is the leading distributor of specialty building products in North America.
