Job Title:

Warehouse Worker Job Description As a Warehouse Worker, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving and unloading incoming materials, verifying shipments, sorting and packaging materials, using handheld barcode scanners, and accurately pulling orders. Your duties will also include inspecting materials, maintaining inventory, preparing shipments, and operating equipment such as punch presses and forklifts. Responsibilities Receive and unload incoming material and verify information against purchase orders. Sort, count, package, and unpack inbound and outbound material. Use handheld barcode scanners to complete necessary documents. Accurately pull orders and stage loading and unloading areas. Cut aluminum and brush within required tolerances, inspecting for damage or defects. Fill and maintain bins and racks, checking inventory levels. Prepare shipments and determine efficient shipping methods. Enter data for UPS orders, load and unload trucks, and build pallets. Maintain pallet racks and aisles, operate punch press, and perform housekeeping duties. Ensure compliance with safety regulations. Band and wrap skids, make boxes, and assist with inventory management. Perform physical inventory and serve as a team member providing assistance. Keep the supervisor informed of key issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Order pulling and material handling. Loading and unloading expertise. Inventory control and management. Use of RF scanners and pallet jacks. Forklift operation and general labor skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50lbs. Proficient in data entry and counting inventory. Work Environment Our warehouse operates Monday through Thursday with one day off, from 6:30am to 4:30pm, and Fridays from 5am to 5pm or until work is finished, totaling 38-42 hours per week. The small warehouse offers a family environment. While working, you may experience varying temperatures, colder in the winter and warmer in the summer, especially in trucks. You are allowed to have one earbud in for listening comfort. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Easton, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 – $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
