Our client is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Lead Clerk to oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless inventory management and workflow efficiency. Join our client’s team and be the pivotal link between warehouse staff and management. Responsibilities of the Warehouse Lead Clerk Oversee and assist with daily shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities. Lead, train, and coordinate a team of warehouse clerks to ensure productivity and accuracy. Monitor and maintain inventory records, including data entry and reconciliation. Ensure proper documentation of inbound and outbound shipments. Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, complying with OSHA and company safety standards. Generate reports on inventory status, shipping activity, and productivity metrics. Identify process improvements and assist in the implementation of warehouse procedures. Act as the first point of contact for issue resolution within the warehouse clerical team. Requirements of the Warehouse Lead Clerk High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred). 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role. Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse safety protocols. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. Forklift certification is a plus.
