Computer skills Manufacturing Entry level Full Job Description Summary Under limited supervision of the Production Supervisor or designee, performs physical and administrative tasks involved in storing, staging, retrieving and distributing materials, parts, products, supplies and containers to meet established deadlines and performance goals in a time-sensitive environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform necessary pre-operation inspection of Powered Industrial Vehicles in accordance with company policy and other regulatory guidelines Perform safe operation of Powered Industrial Vehicles and other material handling equipment including proper use of personal protective equipment Able to consistently replenish raw material, containers (empty and finished goods), supplies and other applicable items to an assigned production cell to prevent production interruptions Follow work instructions and safety procedures for material handling activities Unload and load materials onto or off of pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Sort and place materials or items in racks, shelves, or bins Able to properly unload scrap hoppers in outside compactors and scrap containers Complete paperwork, scanning, and maintain records as directed Anticipate placement of material for production at strategic locations Understand and utilize FIFO system for production and shipping and receiving purposes Work within ISO 14001 and TS16949 guidelines Adhere to safety guidelines Other duties as assigned Ability to use SAP scan gun to move all materials throughout the

Experience:
Prefer at least one year prior PIT (Power-Industrial Truck) experience including sit-down and stand-up lifts Must have a high school diploma or GED Must have ability to obtain/maintain valid Autoneum certification to operate a Powered Industrial Vehicle Prefer prior SAP experience
Language Ability:
Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions and procedure manuals Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions Ability to write pertinent documentation as required Ability to communicate verbally with intercompany and external vendors/customers

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles. The noise level in the environment is moderate to high. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit or stand up, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with arms and hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb.
