Description:

We are seeking an energetic, experienced individual to join our company as a Warehouse Assistant. As part of our warehouse and delivery team, you will use hand trucks and occasionally forklifts to load and unload delivery vehicles and drive vehicles to delivery locations. You will accurately keep records of all inventories, both received and delivered, and observe safe workplace rules and guidelines when unloading and transporting cargo. This could involve securing loads properly, maintaining their vehicles, and adhering to traffic and company regulations. This is a physically demanding position, meaning our ideal candidate can lift and move heavy containers, in addition to possessing a valid driver’s license, forklift operator’s certification, and experience with warehouse inventory management

Requirements:

A competent Warehouse Driver should possess a range of skills and qualifications that align with the duties of the role, such as: High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong driving skills and a clean driving record to safely transport goods from the warehouse to various locations. Excellent knowledge of local and interstate road regulations and guidelines to ensure safety in travel. Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy boxes or equipment, ensuring efficient warehouse operations. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring orders are correctly stored and locations updated. Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with office staff, customers, and suppliers. Ability to operate warehouse vehicles and equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Time management skills to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers. The Warehouse Driver will spend most of their time driving and loading/unloading goods and materials. They may be required to work in a variety of weather conditions. EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification
