Shop Hand Location:
Goose Creek, SC Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00
PM Pay:
$17/hr
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Hand to assist with general labor and upkeep of our facility. This role involves a variety of tasks to maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the shop and surrounding property.
Key Responsibilities:
Sweep and mop floors in all areas, including front entry, offices, parts rooms, bathrooms, and shop floor Empty trash bins throughout the facility and reline with clean bags Clean and restock bathrooms (toilet paper, soap, paper towels) Wipe down toilets, sinks, mirrors, and surfaces Collect and dispose of trash from outdoor areas (front, back, and sides of buildings) Weed-eat fenced areas as needed Clean windows and doors inside and out Maintain cleanliness of shop fridge (weekly check) Clean up spills promptly in the shop and yard Pressure wash and clean forklifts and company vehicles as needed Assist with organizing inventory and general shop tasks as requested
Requirements:
Must have steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and work gloves Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying conditions Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
