Dockhand Daniel Island Marina and Boat Club – 5.0 Daniel Island, SC Job Details Full-time $14 – $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer service Driver’s License Entry level Full Job Description Carefree Boat Club of Charleston is the leading boat club in the Lowcountry that offers five-star customer service, the largest fleet selection consisting of over forty boats from a variety of manufacturers, along with two premier locations that allow our members to experience all of the waterways of Charleston. Our boat club is looking for motivated, charismatic, customer service oriented dock hands to join our staff. An ideal candidate has reliable transportation, a flexible schedule, is willing to work on weekends, and is interested in developing skills necessary for work on the water. Previous boating experience is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the cleanliness of our fleet according to company standards
• Engaging with members professionally during the check-in and check-out process
• Helping members to dock safely upon return
• Learning and becoming proficient with our ResNet and Square software
• Learning to safely maneuver our vessels on the water
• Basic in-water boat maintenance
• Becoming familiar with Charleston’s waterways to provide guidance or aid to our members
• Following our companies policies and procedures
• Performing other reasonable job duties as required
• Work outside in the elements and be able to stand for extended periods of time Training will be provided upon hire.

$14.00 – $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
