Warehouse General Laborer Position Summary:
T.P. Howard’s Plumbing Co., Inc. is seeking a reliable and self-motivated General Laborer to manage and maintain daily warehouse operations. This individual will play a key role in keeping our materials organized, unloading daily shipments, and ensuring that inventory is properly stocked and accounted for while our crews are out on job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and unload daily material shipments. Organize and stock materials in appropriate warehouse locations. Track inventory levels and notify managers of low-stock or missing items. Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized at all times. Communicate with field crews to prepare materials for upcoming jobs. Perform general warehouse duties including moving, lifting, and stacking items as needed. Assist with inventory counts and documentation. Maintain tools and equipment used in the warehouse. Be available on-site while crews are off-site to support ongoing logistics and material needs. Drive a company truck, sometimes with a trailer, to haul materials and equipment from the warehouse to job sites as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic knowledge of plumbing materials is a plus. Reliable transportation and strong work ethic. Forklift experience/certification is a plus. Valid driver’s license required; ability to safely operate a truck and trailer for deliveries.
