Job Overview:

Floor Authority is currently looking for a Warehouse Associate in Myrtle Beach, SC. The ideal candidate is responsible for receiving inbound products, building pallets, and maintaining a clean and productive working environment. This role involves operating a forklift, working closely with the field and installation base to ensure timely and efficient delivery of material. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform daily warehouse operations, including dispatching of daily tasks such as cleaning and organization. Proficient computer skills that allow for receiving products and printing of necessary paperwork. Adherence to the field team’s schedule to ensure correct products are prepared for installation base efficiently. Manage inventory and ensure proper utilization and maintenance. Use Forklift to accept inbound products and ensure all materials are received and stored properly. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.

TRAVEL & WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position with standard business hours, Monday-Friday.

Desired Candidate Qualifications:

Proven experience in warehouse operations or a related role in the flooring industry. Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in using computer software and technology. Valid driver’s license.

What Success Looks Like:

This position requires compliance with the Floor Authority Playbook and includes exceptional communication with internal and external stakeholders. Drive projects to completion in a timely manner without stoppage due to job site related problems that should have been identified & addressed prior to starting work. Having a pragmatic approach to solving problems as they arise to keep the project moving forward to a high-quality outcome. Being team player with a willingness to help outside the boundaries of daily warehouse duties. Providing honest and direct feedback to fight for continuous improvement, as well as receiving feedback and remaining coachable with a positive attitude.
