We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. This role involves moving materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock loaders. Responsibilities include fulfilling production and shipping orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring a clean, hazard-free work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable handling hazardous materials, and able to follow strict regulatory and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport materials within a production or warehouse environment using a forklift or pallet jack. Read and interpret work orders, shipping orders, and schedules to determine material handling requirements. Record quantities of items received, distributed, or moved accurately. Maintain equipment in a clean, safe condition and report maintenance needs promptly. Follow all company safety protocols, operational procedures, and site-specific regulations. Serve as a Waste Management Technician at customer sites, handling and preparing hazardous waste for shipment. Classify waste according to RCRA, EPA, and DOT regulations. Load/unload hazardous waste materials for off-site disposal or recycling using appropriate equipment. Prepare and verify documentation for shipments, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and standards.

Requirements:

Forklift certification (or ability to obtain). Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and EPA hazardous waste handling regulations. Physical ability to maneuver and tilt ~800 lb. drums with a dolly. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Pass a company physical, drug screening, and respirator certification. Willingness to work in environments with fumes, noise, and chemicals using required PPE.

Preferred Skills:

Strong customer service orientation. Prior experience with hazardous materials handling. Ability to accurately complete paperwork and follow regulatory procedures.
