Greenville, SC (Onsite) The Material Handling Specialist will be an integral part of our client’s operations, playing a pivotal role in the efficient and effective management of goods and materials. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from receiving and storing goods to preparing them for shipment. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing and executing a variety of tasks related to the shipping, receiving, storage, distribution, and order fulfillment of a diverse range of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment at our client’s location.
Conducting thorough verification of received goods and those ready for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining meticulous records, and rejecting items that do not meet the required standards.
Packaging products and preparing merchandise for final shipment, which includes recording weights and shipping charges.
Operating heavy machinery, such as a forklift, and lifting heavy items as required, in compliance with all safety regulations.
Maintaining comprehensive records of all merchandise shipped.
Reviewing customer orders, examining, stocking, and distributing merchandise, products, and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing lines.
Assisting the production team by preparing materials for staging and managing the recycling program, contributing to our client’s commitment to sustainability.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in operating a forklift, with a valid forklift operator’s license preferred.
Ability to consistently lift items weighing up to 40lbs, demonstrating physical strength and stamina.
