Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Material Handler I to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the company’s operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient production of high-quality products.

Job Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate Hamilton presses to produce high-quality products in line with our client’s specifications and procedures.
Understand and apply Lithographic (Offset) and Flexographic printing methods.
Adjust press components as needed to ensure safe operation and quality product production.
Verify all materials used for accuracy, quality, and conformance to all established specifications and regulatory requirements.
Ensure print quality and proper labeling of paper rolls.
Maintain all required documentation as per company standards and ensure compliance with safety, health regulations, and good housekeeping practices within assigned areas.

Skills Required:

Mechanical ability to diagnose and adjust press issues to ensure safe operation and quality product production.
Mathematical ability to calculate job requirements.
Ability to use a rule to set up press components and interpret and transpose measurements.
Basic knowledge of the English language to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
Ability to understand and implement all the requirements listed on a job jacket.
Ability to manage time efficiently to complete assigned work tasks.

Education:

High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Experience
Inexperienced Pressman – Must complete the twelve-week Training program on site.
Experienced Pressman – Must have Five years’ experience in running a printing press.
