Responsibilities The Greenville (GREE) Warehouse/Shipping Department is committed to providing high quality products and service that meet our customer’s expectations. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Verifies manufacturing records through data processing and adjusts if necessary. Follow all Company policies as outlined in Handbook Follow all Berry GMPs, Safety Absolutes and Safe Working Policies Follow all safety and food safety policies Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Posts weights and shipping charges and approves or disapproves. Communicates and interacts with other departments. Responsible for balance manufacturing records and correcting if necessary through data processing Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Excellent computer skills, word, excel, internet. Excellent telephone skills. Basic math skills. Ability to handle and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Ability to apply common sense understanding, to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variable in standardized situations. Must follow all plant level GMP’s to prevent contamination of product. Must complete all job specific training as well as on the job training and yearly refresher training.
