Job Description:
TICO Manufacturing is hiring a Material Handler in Ridgeland, South Carolina. In this role, you will manage and transport materials, components, and products to support production operations. Ideal candidates will have experience in inventory control and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities
Safely transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
Support inventory control by accurately receiving, stocking, and tracking materials.
Pick, pack, and deliver materials to meet production schedules. safety protocols and use PPE to maintain a safe environment.
Inspect materials for quality, report issues, and uphold cleanliness standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
Basic math and document interpretation skills.
Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and varied environmental conditions.
Flexibility to adjust to shift schedules and support Lean principles.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Material handling or manufacturing experience preferred.
Working Conditions This role may involve working in non-climate-controlled areas. PPE is mandatory on production floors. Physical Requirements Includes walking, standing, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
