This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, possess good attention to detail, and are looking to gain experience in the logistics and warehouse industry. This role works under the supervision of experienced warehouse personnel to perform a range of tasks to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES

High school diploma or GED, preferred Proficient in basic computer and math skills At least one year of warehouse experience preferred Must have a valid driver’s license, DOT medical card, and meet our driving record requirements to drive company vehicles

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and walk, pull, squat, bend and reach Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled and with exposure to dust, dirt, and noise Must be able to work outside in hot and cold temperatures Must be able to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Exemplify our five core values (Safety, Others, Integrity, Initiative, and Passion) Assist with picking and packing orders based on picking lists or work orders Ensure accurate selection of items, proper packaging, and labeling for efficient order fulfillment Assist in receiving incoming shipments by helping to unload and verify their accuracy Check items for damages, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel Assist with inventory control by counting, organizing, and maintaining inventory levels Help in performing regular cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels and update inventory records using designated systems or software Aid in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment Help in arranging products in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and easy accessibility Assist in optimizing space utilization and maintaining a safe work area Operate safely warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, under the guidance of trained personnel Follow safety guidelines and assist in performing routine maintenance checks on equipment Assist in preparing outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, and coordinating with carriers or couriers Generate shipping labels, track shipments, and maintain accurate shipping records Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions, shipping/receiving logs, and other relevant documentation Learn to generate basic reports or provide data as requested by warehouse management Collaborate with other warehouse team members and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth workflow, effective communication, and timely completion of tasks Assist coworkers as needed to meet warehouse goals and objectives Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations Perform other duties as assigned
