About the role The business has an aggressive strategic growth plan and is now ready to embark on our own warehouse to support our US and Canadian customers and distributors. As a Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in running a key part of the Distribution Operation by implementing processes and procedures in line with the business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Processing:

Process orders efficiently, from picking to packing and shipping.

Picking :

Locate and retrieve items from shelves or storage areas based on customer orders.

Packing:

Securely package items into boxes or containers, ensuring proper use of void fill and carrying out the appropriate labelling.

Replenishment:

Move stock between locations to ensure that it is the required location for picking. Adhere to the business safety culture. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Proficient and accurate use of scanning equipment to facilitate picking from defined locations and verification of product and quantity picked Proficient use of IT software to create documents and labels Support the inventory function to maintain stock accuracy across the Distribution Centre by carrying out stock checks Assist with the receipts of goods into the DC and with the staging and loading of customer orders Manual handling is an integral part of the role (e.g. Consolidation of stock onto pallets), you will need to be physically fit to meet this requirement Work closely with colleagues to ensure daily performance targets are met. Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at a high level To carry out any other general duties within the warehouse environment to allow the company to operate efficiently Must-haves Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a busy warehousing environment Ability to multitask and work cross functionally within the Distribution Centre Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
