Job Description
We are hiring for multiple positions across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities Include packaging materials, maintaining inventory, assisting operators, and handling materials using forklifts and overhead cranes. Candidates should be comfortable working in a hot environment and follow safety protocols.
Experience in steel manufacturing or warehouse operations is preferred, and forklift/crane experience is a plus.

Package material according to the Shop Order using the Packaging Profile or as instructed.
Maintain inventory of supplies, banding, seals, edge protectors, paper separators, and skids.
Skidding material.
Generate computer-assisted setup.
Select proper knives, set up slitter head, and select and lay out tooling.
Assist operator/helper and check shipping paperwork.
Load/unload coils onto flatbed trucks/railcars using forklift and overhead crane.
Proper placement of coils in the warehouse.
Inspect, measure, and use tools required for jobs in production and shipping departments.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager in shipping and production.
Must be able to walk, stand, and bend.
Required skills include the ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods; experience working in a hot warehouse environment; production and warehouse experience; sheet metal experience; and proficiency in English. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required. Crane and rigging experience is desirable.
