Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic team.
This position is ideal for individuals with experience in warehousing, receiving components, and inventory management in the manufacturing or transportation industry. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in warehousing, with a strong focus on inventory control, customer satisfaction, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Satisfaction:
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate dispatching and maintaining the quality of goods. +

Inventory Management:
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas, ensuring efficient use of space and materials. +

HTS Code Updates:
- Work on updating HTS codes in Oracle, ensuring accuracy and compliance. +

Invoice Validation:
- Validate commercial invoices to prevent delays in customs clearance for export shipments. +

Documentation Compliance:
- Collaborate with the customs team to identify gaps in documentation and resolve them promptly. +

Item Records Maintenance:
- Maintain item records, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project shipping status. +

Inventory Integrity:
- Monitor and control inventory integrity through audits and proper material handling practices, addressing discrepancies quickly. +

Problem Resolution:
- Resolve inventory issues in a timely manner, escalating as needed. +

Non-Conforming Product Tracking:
- Track and report non-conforming products to maintain transactional integrity. +

Cycle Counts:
- Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. +

Safety Compliance:
- Demonstrate awareness of and compliance with safety requirements in the assigned work area for both yourself and peers. +

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and suggest innovative or adjust existing work practices to enhance efficiency. +

Cross-Department Coordination:
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Experience:
- A minimum of five years’ experience in warehousing and receiving components. +

Education:
- High School graduate or general education degree (GED) required. +

Industry Experience:
- At least three years of experience in the manufacturing or transportation industry, or equivalent training. +

Forklift Certification:
- MUST have a valid forklift certification. (1-2 job references required for verification.) +

Skills:
- + Strong knowledge of warehousing and inventory management practices. + Familiarity with Oracle or similar inventory management software. + Strong attention to detail with an ability to resolve inventory discrepancies. + Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
