JOB SUMMARY

Packages materials and products manually and utilizing wrapping machine and tools. Moves, locates, relocates, stacks and counts stock with the assistance of a forklift, clamp truck and/or other power equipment.

JOB RESPONSABILITIES

Lines and pads crate and assembles cartons Wraps protective material around product Starts, stops, and regulates speed of conveyor Inserts or pours product into containers or fills containers from spout or chute Weighs containers and adjusts quantity Labels containers, container tags, or products Packs special arrangements or selections of product Records information such as weight, time, and date packaged Unloads inbound shipments safely and efficiently. Loads outbound shipments safely and efficiently. Moves materials in and out of storage locations accurately and without damage to items. Moves materials from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers and/or other transport vehicles. Stacks materials. Stages materials in staging areas. Fills orders. Pulls and prepares materials for shipment. Maintains equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. Inspects and performs minor maintenance on power equipment. Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner per company policies. Keeps well-organized records and reports. Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area. Comply with all safety rules. Performs minor repairs to equipment, as needed. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
