Warehouse Associate (with Stand-Up Forklift Experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate with stand-up forklift experience to join our team. This role is responsible for efficiently moving, storing, and organizing materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a stand-up (reach or counterbalance) forklift to load, unload, move, and stack materials. Pick and pack orders accurately according to work orders or pick lists. Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and inspect for damage. Perform inventory counts and assist with stock rotation. Maintain clean and organized work areas, following all safety guidelines. Perform routine forklift inspections and report any mechanical issues. Assist with general warehouse tasks, including sorting, labeling, and pallet wrapping. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of recent stand-up forklift operation in a warehouse setting.

Certification:

Valid forklift certification (preferred or required depending on company). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Warehouse environment (may include cold, hot, or outdoor conditions). Full-time, with potential overtime during busy periods. May require flexibility for early morning, evening, or weekend shifts. 1st shift. $18/HR.
