We are currently seeking a W arehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to join our talented Warehouse team. We are seeking a reliable and responsible warehouse associate to receive, store, organize inventory and transport HVAC and plumbing materials to our work locations. Key duties include loading and unloading trucks, operating warehouse equipment, maintaining records, and ensuring safe and timely deliveries. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with crane rigging and unloading at job sites Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment Load and unload trucks and ensure secure transport of materials Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Process and manage all company returns in an orderly manner Perform general warehouse duties as assigned Receiving and verifying incoming shipments, checking for damages or discrepancies. Unloading trucks and placing items in designated storage areas. Adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
Driving and Delivery:
Operating a vehicle (truck or van) to transport goods. Following designated routes and schedules for deliveries. Ensuring proper loading and securing of cargo for safe transport.
Additional Tasks:
May assist with other warehouse duties as assigned. May be required to troubleshoot issues related to shipments, inventory, or deliveries.
Qualifications and Skills:
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Driving Skills:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Warehouse Operations:
Understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, and operating warehouse equipment.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Effective communication with team members and customers.
Organization and Time Management:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and resolve issues related to shipments, inventory, or deliveries.
Computer Literacy:
Basic computer skills for inventory and logistics software.
Safety Awareness:
