BUILDING MATERIAL HANDLER
Local and Growing Company 4978 Highway 70 East, White Bluff, TN 37187 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling of materials within a warehouse environment. Your primary focus will be on loading and unloading products, ensuring accurate order picking, and maintaining a safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy lifting and familiarity with warehouse equipment. Duties Perform heavy lifting and material handling tasks as required Pull loads off of pick ticket and load trucks Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks Load and unload materials from trucks and containers Accurately pick orders based on customer specifications Maintain organization of inventory within the warehouse and yard Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals Assist in building pallets for shipping or storage as needed Experience Previous experience in a building materials handling role is preferred Familiarity with operating forklifts is a must Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) consistently throughout the shift Knowledge of order picking processes and materials handling best practices Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment If you are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and meets the qualifications outlined above, we encourage you to apply for the Material Handler position.
