FUNCTION

Perform duties to move parts, materials, and components to designated areas in the plant utilizing forklift. Load and unload material conveyance and process equipment safely to facilitate production.

RESPONSIBILITES

Sequence the delivery of raw material according to needs of operation. Maintain material conveyance and process equipment to facilitate production. Inventory raw material and production output. Pull and deliver components to production or assembly areas according to work orders or oral instructions. Responsible for rotating the recycling and scrap containers on production floor. Completes appropriate documentation regarding relocated material and computer data entry. Stack, crush, dispose of, or recycle waste packing material such as cardboard cartons and pallets. Clean equipment. Take inventory and complete cycle counting. Responsible for any other special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High School Diploma or GED; competency in basic math At least one year experience in similar environment Forklift operation Basic computer skills Ability to work with minimal supervision.’
