What Youll Do at Shapiro
Be operator certified in both forklift and Bob Cat operationOperate forklift and/or Bob Cat equipment throughout the processing plant and materials yardIdentify problems with your equipment to ensure safe operationRecognize metals by pattern, color, configuration, and other means to grade them accuratelyLoad and unload trucksLoad and unload tubs and containers of metal productScoop and move loose metal productsAdd and remove tubs, containers, and loose product from inventoryOperate separators to upgrade productsHand-work metals to grade, separate and remove impuritiesPerform all baler duties, including operating, cleaning, and maintenancePreventative maintenance of any equipment
Administrative- Duties include but not limited to performing a variety ofplex clerical and entry-level administrative tasks, applying generally accepted office procedures to the preparation and maintenance of various records and providing administrative support to all employees in the office and plant.

Need to Have
The ability to be an operator certified in forklift and Bob Cat (Well provide the necessary training)Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentGood safety record from previous employmentMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistanceProficiency in MS Office applicationsProfessional work attitude and pleasant mannerismsAbility to understand and followplex oral and written instructionsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees and a variety of external agenciesAbility to multitask and prioritize efficiently
Nice to Have
