The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading goods, ensuring that all materials are handled safely and effectively. Duties Operate equipment, including forklifts, to move materials within the dock area. Load trucks and containers using pallet jacks and other materials handling equipment. Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, reporting any discrepancies or damages. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of goods in the distribution center. Follow all safety guidelines related to materials handling and equipment operation. Experience Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred. Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
