The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the overall success of our logistics and supply chain processes. Duties Operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers to move products safely and efficiently. Manage inventory by accurately tracking stock levels and ensuring proper storage of goods. Load and unload shipments, ensuring that all items are handled with care to prevent damage. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists. Conduct order picking activities to fulfill customer orders accurately and timely. Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Utilize inventory management systems such as AS400 for tracking and reporting purposes. Provide mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. Familiarity with operating forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other warehouse machinery is highly desirable. Knowledge of inventory management processes and shipping/receiving practices is essential. Understanding of OSHA standards related to warehouse operations is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
