As a Warehouse Associate you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service for our internal teams and external customers. The role encompasses shipping and receiving for small loads, inventory cycle counting, and pick/pack for shipping and for our Custom Solutions assembly jobs. The ideal candidate should have experience in these areas, along with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset. Position Summary As a Warehouse Associate, you will handle warehouse operations, workload distribution, and SAP troubleshooting under the Warehouse Manager’s supervision. Responsibilities include managing incoming and outgoing shipments via FedEx, UPS, and LTL carriers, conducting cycle counts, pulling, packaging, and shipping orders. Periodic customer order deliveries using a company vehicle are required. The role demands accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks independently. Candidates must operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift, bandsaw, tube-facing equipment) and be comfortable standing and walking on concrete floors. Swagelok training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Manage incoming and outgoing shipments via FedEx, UPS, and LTL carriers, including tracking, tracing, and scheduling freight pickups.

Process customer orders:

Print, pack, prepare for pickup Notify customers Coordinate deliveries for salesmen or strategic local deliveries. Conduct cycle counts, assemble simple production orders, and cut tubing as needed. Maintain warehouse equipment (banding machine, forklift, carts) and packaging supplies, reporting reorder needs to the Warehouse Manager. Keep the warehouse organized and ensure compliance with Visual Acuity certification for inspecting returned products. Provide coverage at Knoxville or Wake Forest locations as needed. Position Requirements High School Diploma 1-2 years of inventory control experience Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word required Clean driving record required (MVR will be requested and reviewed) Forklift Driver Certification Skills/Knowledge Requirements Dependable, self-motivated, good communication skills, attention to detail, speed and accuracy, customer focused, demonstrates innovative thinking and sound judgement, willingness to learn, able to multi-task, comfortable working alone and part of a team. Preferred Requirements Associates Degree. 3-5 year Inventory Control experience. Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Manager. Experience with SAP Business One. Basic IT knowledge, hardware and software.

Heavy Lifting (up to 50lbs) will be required at times to complete warehouse tasks, within the standards as defined by OSHA Regulations for Occupational Safety .
