2nd Shift Material Handler 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Columbia, TN 38401 Job Summary AtWork Personnel is seeking skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operators and Machine Operators for a local company here in Columbia, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to efficiently move, load, and unload products within the warehouse. The Forklift Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse processes while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. Duties Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Loads, unloads, and transfers material to designated areas in accordance with training procedures Labels and stocks material in warehouse utilizing equipment. Inspects material for deficiencies or breakages prior to shipment or warehouse storage. Pulls material from the shelf in accordance with ticket requirements (use of forklift of picker required). Maintain a clean and organized work area, following OSHA guidelines for safety. Respools and fills customer order in accordance with ticket and completes appropriate paperwork/checklists Organizes and prepares material for shipments as needed. Follows ticket instructions and shipping standards in accordance with procedures. Follows safety procedures in accordance with approved training and reports any dangerous conditions to management immediately Experience Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse. High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic math. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Must be able to pass a Background Check. Must have great attendance.
