What You’ll Be Doing:
Achieve departmental goals – safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Provide daily communication with peers and production staff regarding production and quality issues. Ensure parts are produced to appropriate quality levels and ensure the suspect product is contained and corrective actions are in place. Perform daily duties with accuracy and in a timely manner, including quality checks (C=0), material movement, correct identification of components, loading resin, etc. Ensure all scrap resin is placed into correct recycling bin throughout shift and department. Follow all 6S and safety standards and practices. Provide continuous improvement and cost savings ideas. Train peers/employees so that tasks can be completed in your absence. Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and adapt. Lean manufacturing experience. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
