The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the flow of materials and products throughout the warehouse, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations. This role requires mechanical knowledge and experience with warehouse management systems to facilitate effective order picking, shipping, and receiving processes. We have multiple openings across all shifts. No experience needed as associates will be cross trained on various forms of Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs)! Responsibilities Operate forklifts, tuggers, and cherry pickers to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas. Build and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy in order picking. Manage inventory levels by tracking materials using a warehouse management system. Assist in shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks associated with material handling. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to quality standards. Requirements Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations. Ability to perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) safely as required by the job duties. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team setting.
