Position Summary:

Material Handlers are primarily responsible for pulling and staging product for Inventory Associates, cycle counts of their assigned areas, providing constant back up to the line inventory associates, maintaining warehouse area, and proper disposal of packaging material.

Position Responsibilities:

To properly manage warehoused inventory, providing parts to the production lines in a timely manner, carrying out cycle counts and keeping inventory counts properly maintained. Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience): Receives pick tickets from line associates and reads order to confirm part number, revision level, quantity requested, etc. Communicates with warehouse pick to ensure proper part number, revision level, and quantity are pulled in a FIFO manner. Transport and delivers loaded transfer carts and bins to the line ensuring product is properly moved and split in the ERP system. Communicates with line associate any issues in warehouse inventory. Communicate with Purchasing and Manufacturing when inventory levels are low. Assists in the process of cycle counts for their assigned line. Assists in pulling and staging parts for the next shift. Refill’s small part bins as necessary Unboxes and loads parts onto transfer carts ensuring safety in transport and protection from damage. Assist in locating new products to proper warehouse location. Notify ordering personnel of low inventory. The candidate must be able to lift 20+ pounds, take directions from management, and work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must display self-motivation, eagerness to learn, strong teamwork skills, a solid work ethic, as well as a positive and professional demeanor. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
