Stock Clerks-Warehouse staff Camco Roofing & Exterior Supply Memphis, TN 38134 Summary Receive, store, and load materials and other items from our wholesale warehouse. Most items are hand pulled. Duties Receive and count stock items Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Examine and inspect stock items for defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions. Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock. Requirements Receive shipments. Unload materials or equipment. Stock supplies or merchandise. Store items. Attach identification information to products, items or containers. Clean facilities or equipment. Inspect items for damage or defects. Operate forklift Distribute materials to employees or customers. Discuss goods or services information with customers or patrons.
