Warehouse Associate (2nd Shift Packer) Job Description Join our team as a Warehouse Associate, where you will play a crucial role in picking and packing orders according to client specifications. You will utilize an RF scan gun and work primarily in a cold room environment. Our Warehouse Management System (WMS) is based in Manhattan. While your main area will be the cold room, there is potential for training to operate in the freezer section. Cold suits, including pants, jackets, and gloves, are provided to ensure comfort and safety in the cold environment. Responsibilities Pick and pack orders as per client specifications. Utilize RF scan gun for order picking. Operate within the cold room, maintaining awareness of freezer conditions. Participate in facility and freezer tours to understand work environment. Assist in shipping, receiving, and labeling of products. Handle materials and general warehouse duties efficiently. Essential Skills Experience in packing, production, and picking. Proficiency in using RF scanners. Ability to perform material handling, order picking, unloading, and shipping. Attention to detail in labeling and organizing. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a cold room or freezer is highly beneficial. Background in medical device or pharmaceutical environments is advantageous. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position operates on a 2nd Shift schedule (Monday to Friday, 2 pm to 10:30 pm) with mandatory availability on Saturdays or weekends, notified in advance. Work primarily takes place in a cold room environment (44-45 degrees), with potential training for freezer work. The warehouse is dedicated to handling life-saving medical products. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 – $17.00/hr.
