We are currently hiring a full-time Material Handler to join our growing team and support our operation and customer needs. Come join us on 1st shift in a climate controlled environment! Prepare, collect and distribute inventory and tooling to various locations via foot throughout the workday from work order and verbal instruction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reads work orders or follows oral instruction to gather information of needed materials and procures them. Safely loads, unloads and moves materials within facility, yards or work site utilizing hand truck, dolly, or other method. Verifies that all issued materials and tooling are the proper size, part number and items needed. Returns all unused materials and tooling to the designated department. Safely lifts heavy objects utilizing industrial equipment such as fork trucks. Assists with the cleaning, packaging and boxing of exhaust systems and components when time permits. Follows safety rules and expectations and uses safe work practices. Complies and supports company quality policies and procedures Miscellaneous duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years material handling experience preferred. Capable of safely operating various types of material handling equipment including fork trucks and manufacturing power/hand tools. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and interpret drawings. Ability to work independently and with others. Ability to walk on average 8-10 miles per day.
