$14.75/hour (W2)

Shift:

Initial training on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) for 2 weeks; then transition to 2nd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Summary:

T he Compression Mold Operator is responsible for operating compression molding and pre-form press machines to produce various product families. This role requires performing manual operations, conducting inspections, and documenting data accurately in the Device History Record (DHR) in compliance with work instructions and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify instruments and materials against Device History Record (DHR) specifications. Operate compression molding machines to form parts, measure and count parts, load/unload mold fixtures, and document data on DHR. Operate pre-form press machines to cut rubber forms per DHR specifications. Perform manual loading and unloading of compression mold machines, pre-form cutting machines, and post-cure fixtures. Conduct visual and gauge inspections to ensure quality compliance. Measure and inspect parts during machine operation; document quality checks and required data accurately on DHR. Clean and maintain machines and forming molds to ensure operational readiness.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and work experience. No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in using microscopes, gauges, and micrometers. Comfortable handling small and sharp instruments safely. Capable of managing workflow and meeting scheduling demands. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and short correspondence. Basic writing skills for simple correspondence. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Basic computer literacy, including data entry in manufacturing software and email applications.
