Material Handler Job Description Join our team as a Material Handler, where you will play a crucial role in our high-volume distribution center. You will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, ensuring smooth operations in a dynamic warehouse environment. Responsibilities Use a sit-down forklift to unload and load trucks. Move trailers as needed. Be cross-trained in receiving and shipping tasks. Utilize RF scanners and computers to update inventory records. Process paperwork and prepare shipments efficiently. Collaborate with the warehouse manager to ensure seamless operations. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift. Strong computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus. Familiarity with RF scanner operations is advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a smaller warehouse with two docks, handling a high volume of freight. The distribution center operates with three shifts, offering flexibility in hours to meet business needs. This role requires adaptability and a proactive approach to changing demands. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
