Volt is immediately hiring for Assemblers and Material Handlers inMt. Juliet, TN As an Assembler, you will: 1st and 3rd shift available Read and understand moderately complex to very complex wiringdiagrams, bill of materials, kit sheets, front elevation and oneline. Reports issues through entering Andon’s in LDS (Lean DigitizationSystem). Enter wiring terminations through OPS app. Assembles very small to large parts and performs wiringassembly. Utilizes a wide variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuringequipment. Performs entire wiring assembly operation of one job (frompre-arranged kit) from start to finish. Responsible for own product quality, proper measuring techniques,and tool use and care. Evaluates and performs basic to moderately complex troubleshooting,and obtains support from supervision, and engineering asneeded. Establishes a safe and healthy work environment. Maintains all certifications for group(s) and completes allrequired training. Performs other duties as required and often in other groups. As a Material Handler, you will: 1st and 2nd shift available Reach Truck experience required Experience using various tools including manual/electric/pneumatictools, fork truck (including stand-up), jib crane,templates/fixtures, hand carts, measuring devices and prescribedsafety equipment. Read production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders todetermine type and quantity of materials required, availability ofstock, and order priority. Read and interpret Bills of Material (BOM’s), job notes, andprints. Label all racks, part bins, and shelves in storage areas and workcells. Examine material received, verify part numbers, and checkdiscrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts. Use inventory scanning system to scan into/out of locations. Must be versatile to work in different areas of the department. This is a full time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Employees and Contingent workers must be legally authorized to workin the United States without company sponsorship. High schooldiploma or GED required. A pre-employment drug screen as well as abackground check is required. Employees and Contingent workers mustbe able to communicate effectively. The department requires PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), plusSafety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the productionfloor. Work is performed in an Assembly/Manufacturing environment. The jobwill be performed standing and/or squatting. Requires ability toreach overhead, pull, push, and climb a ladder to perform work. Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 poundsrepetitively.

Payrate:

$20 – $22 per hour •Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based onseveral factors, including the candidate’s education, workexperience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,etc. Qualified candidates should
