No Limited Term Length Job Summary Auburn University Waste Reduction and Recycling Department seeks a Solid Waste Technician to assist with the solid waste and recycling programs on campus by servicing waste and recycling containers and other receptacles inside and outside university buildings. Services solid waste and recycling containers including, but not limited to, carts, dumpsters, compactors, and other receptacles.
Operates equipment to collect and remove waste and recycling from university grounds.
Removes and replaces waste and recycling bins when necessary
Keeps areas around dumpsters and waste drop off points clean and in neat order.
Works alongside other departments who handle solid waste materials.
