We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Utility Coordinator to support our Southeast Region located in Miami or Fort Lauderdale, FL. To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a high school diploma. What you’ll be doing: Coordinate utility work between various clients (FDOT, County, Private), contractors, and third-party utilities
Develop utility agreements and utility relocation estimates
Track utility work schedules and ensure timely completion
Resolve utility conflicts by reviewing plans and coordinating with engineers and utility owners
Act as a liaison between engineers, contractors, governmental agencies, and the public to resolve utility conflicts What you need to have: High school diploma
Utility coordination experience including interpreting plans, and assisting the Utility Agency Owners (UAO) with completing of their work schedules and agreements, and FDOT, FHWA, and AASHTO standards, policies, procedures, and design criteria
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines.
Valid driver’s license.
