RCRA Technician Chemico LLC Rocky Mount, NC 27804 Position Summary The RCRA Technician is responsible for assisting Site Manager with overall site operations and waste management.

The program summary includes:

“Materials Awaiting for Shipment – MAS” Collect scrap material for destruction. Break down scrap material Segregate material into appropriate disposal bins for recycling. Weigh and Update database with appropriate Identification number. Weekly Hazardous Waste Satellite inspection/pickup. Weigh, record, and update site database Weekly Chemical Room Inspection Degreaser Services Assist Site Manager with Point of Use Delivery (including Coordination of returnable containers for pick-up) Health, Safety, and Environmental Support Assist with onsite customer service requests Responsibilities /

Duties:

Perform Honeywell/Chemico agreed statement of work operation activities. Maintain scrap material flowing through “Materials Awaiting Shipment – MAS” Assist with stocking and onsite point-of-use delivery activities Conduct Waste management activities including inspections, waste consolidation, sorting, and destruction services Update / Data Entry in the customer onsite database for Waste Management Ensuring Secondary Chemical Containers are refilled Assist with onsite degreaser services Comply with

DOT / RCRA

regulations Prepare Hazardous waste for shipment Chemical Response – Clean up minor chemical spills onsite Performs other duties as requested

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Provide outstanding customer service & identify the unique needs of each customer Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, management & company personnel Demonstrates excellent problem identification/resolution skills Possesses strong oral/written/interpersonal communication skills Manage workload within conflicting operational demands & tight timeline constraints Possesses strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and orderly work habits Demonstrate confidence, self-motivation, great initiative and insight to grow business Minimum of 1-3 years of previous experience in industrial manufacturing environments

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent of two years related work experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. Proficient in M.S. Office and Internet computer applications Prefer someone familiar with other software applications related to manufacturing, warehouse and inventory operations.

Work Environment:

Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment. This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role requires presence on the manufacturing floor and a significant amount of walking on concrete surfaces. This role also routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Ability to work in a team fostered environment. Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment. Strong personality and focus in fast-paced and demanding environments. Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.
