JOB SUMMARY

Performs variousproject work which requires safely operating vehicles and a varietyof heavy/agricultural equipment that may include, but is notlimited to; front-end loaders, skid steers, track-hoes, andbulldozers. This position is a safety-sensitive position and requires a clearmind and diligence. The employee has the responsibility for his/hersafety as well as the safety of others.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Always operate equipment in a safe manner Perform loading, unloading, and timely delivery of material toassigned/approved destination. Serve as a company ambassador in every interaction with clientsand the public. Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenanceon the equipment. Perform shop clean up, maintenance, and equipment/toolssetup. Maintain operation records.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Communication skills – verbal and written. Ability to operate heavy or agricultural equipment safely. Ability to perform basic math. Mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to follow directions.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Sitting, Climbing, Balancing, Reaching, Standing, Walking,Feeling, lifting to 50 lbs., Talking, Hearing, and Seeing The employee is subject to confined spaces. The employee is subject to outside environmental conditions: Noeffective protection from weather. The employee is subject to atmospheric conditions. The employee is subject to hazards: Including a variety ofphysical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts,moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding andhigh places, exposure to high heat, or exposure to bio-solids. This position requires overtime.
