Job Summary:

•As a Yard Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing the company’s yard area. This includes performing regular inspections, cleaning, and upkeep of the yard to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Salary Range:

$18.00 – $21.00

ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain grass areas, keep trash picked up, keeping grounds always looking neat and orderly Maintaining the placement of machines in the correct area for Service and Sales department Wash machines daily Weekly machine maintenance, thorough complete check to include, starting each machine and recording hours Receiving all incoming machines and attachments Provide the Service Manager and Service Coordinator/Writer with the information you have gathered Pictures must be taken of all items leaving and coming into our yard If machine or attachment is damaged upon arrival, note on movement ticket, take pictures of damage and notify Service Manager/Service Coordinator/Writer Areas swept Oil pans drained Trash cans emptied

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

High School diploma or equivalent Ability to operate basic yard equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers and power washers Good communication skills Good, safe work habits Good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions Organizational Skills Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects Self-Motivated License(s) or Certification(s)

None Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and /or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects Climbing, balancing, stopping, kneeling, crouching, pulling and are frequently required. Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required. Crawling, pushing and fingering are seldom required. The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
