• $30 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Wastewater Certification Mid-level CDL Analysis skills Driver’s License Full Job Description Position Summary A sludge hauler under the direction and instruction of the certified wastewater operator is responsible for transporting sewage sludge from wastewater treatment facilities to disposal sites, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

This involves operating specialized equipment, adhering to all required safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records. Major Job Duties Operating and maintaining specialized equipment: This includes operating a sludge truck, pumping equipment, and other related machinery used in sludge hauling.

Loading and unloading sludge:

Accurately and safely load sludge into the truck, ensuring proper distribution and preventing spills.

Transporting sludge:

Drive the truck safely and efficiently to designated disposal sites, adhering to speed limits and traffic laws.

Ensuring environmental compliance:

Adhere to all relevant environmental regulations and safety protocols related to sludge hauling.

Documentation and record keeping:

Maintain accurate records of sludge hauled, disposal locations, and any other required documentation.

Cleaning and maintaining equipment:

Regularly clean and maintain the sludge truck and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Safety protocols:

Follow all safety procedures, including wearing appropriate protective gear and reporting any safety hazards.

Communication:

Physical Requirements:
