Functions and Responsibilities:

Sort and process recyclables. Operate Baler, conveyors, loaders, forklift, crusher, and other equipment as needed to receive, process, store, and load recyclables. Perform preventive and routine maintenance on recycling equipment. Keep operational logs on equipment as required. Keep area(s) & equipment clean as required Knows and abides by all plant safety rules and regulations. Maintain a high standard of job requirements. Work under general supervision Flexible with hours worked to perform unexpected clean up, plowing, and filling vacant positions Know and follow all safety rules, perform duties in a safe and efficient manner. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be able to perform physically demanding work and routinely and comfortably lift at least 50lbs. Must be physically able to perform the functions of the job in order to sort and to perform with a high degree of productivity. Must have the ability to give, take, and follow oral and written instruction. Must be knowledgeable in plant equipment operation and requirements as pertains to position. Must have the ability to communicate clearly with the public, vendors, buyers, and ecomaine staff and supervisors.
