JOB DESCRIPTION

Facility Technician I

Pay Rate:

$17hr w $1.75 SD pay added after training.

Summary:

The Facility Technician I performs hands-on operations including drum pumping, tank farm operations, and offloading of waste materials. This role ensures safe andpliant handling of materials and equipment in support of facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle drum movements, unloadingloading tank farm trucks, and other basic facility operations inpliance with DOT requirements.
Operate a forklift (as needed) andplete daily safety inspections.
Submit documentation for waste tracking and movement.
Follow all Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain areapliance with permit standards.
Meet or exceed daily production goals.
Keep work areas clean andanized.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required.
0-3 years of relevant experience.
OSHA 40-Hour

HAZWOPER

certification required (or willingness to obtain).
Forklift training preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and operate within physically demanding environments.
Basicputer use and SOPprehension required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work Environment:

Physical role with frequent standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
Less than 10% travel may be required.
