Sanitation Technician Tailored Bottling Solutions LLC 456 Acorn La, Downingtown, PA 19335 Job Overview The Sanitation Technician is responsible for using USDA-approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces, sanitize all components of our production and processing equipment, and ensure that there is no unnecessary waste along the assembly line. Additionally, you will clean the floors, ensure the building’s ventilation is clean and functioning correctly, and replenish sanitary products and soap in the bathrooms. Since we provide consumable products for sale and distribution to the public, we expect you to report any potential contamination issues. Qualification Requirements 1+ years in a manufacturing environment Must have or be willing to obtain a forklift license Previous manufacturing knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMP (highly preferred) Proficient in basic computer skills Must be able to lift 55 lbs Must be able to work in 35° – 108°F environments Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces Willing and able to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends Willing and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment Responsibilities & Skills Disassembles and sets up all production equipment, cleans all equipment using COP and CIP systems, verifies the proper cleaning and set-up of all equipment, puts away production and sanitation materials, drives material handling equipment, monitors/tests chemical concentration of all CIP systems. Maintains CIP Records. Takes inventory of sanitation supplies. Responsible for performing tasks according to the plant Master Cleaning Schedule. Responsible for basic care, maintenance and troubleshooting of all Sanitation equipment. Trains new Associates on required skill sets for Environmental Operations. Maintains work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP and Safety guidelines. Performs any other related miscellaneous duties assigned by the Lead. Will be required to train in other areas of the plant as required, which may include: Valve and Pump PM program, HMI operation, and chemical titration On a daily basis ensure Food and Human Safety are your number one priority and partner with the team to identify/eliminate risks and ensure compliance with all company, state, and federal regulations GMPs Support and comply with GMPs. Participate in PPE initiatives. Follow all company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, surfaces, and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas needing attention and maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse. Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment for industrial cleaning tasks while adhering to safety guidelines. Assist in the fabrication of cleaning schedules and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently. Handle heavy lifting as required, including moving equipment or materials during the cleaning process. Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities and report any issues or concerns to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean working environment that supports food production processes. Requirements Previous experience in food processing, warehouse operations, or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and sanitation practices within food production environments is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with cleaning duties. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Familiarity with safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
