Equipment Technician Job Description We are a medical equipment management and service company dedicated to helping healthcare organizations access, manage, and maintain medical equipment. We have an immediate need for Hospital/Facilities Technicians/Janitors to sanitize medical equipment, providing an extra layer of cleanliness after the hospital’s initial cleaning. Responsibilities Sanitize small moveable equipment such as IV pumps, prism machines, heart/patient monitors, and empty bed frames using wipes and occasionally a brush. Collaborate with hospital staff and work autonomously when needed. Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and ready for use. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Essential Skills 6+ months of experience in any recent job. Ability to stand, lift, and push items up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. Willingness to work every other weekend. Positive attitude and teamwork capabilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred. Attention to detail. Ability to work well with a team and take direction effectively. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position involves working in a hospital environment, which requires a willingness to adapt to the demands of such a setting. The schedule includes rotating shifts, with one position on the 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. Rotating weekends are mandatory, while overtime is available but not required. Day shifts involve restocking and rounds to pick up used equipment, while afternoon and evening shifts focus on sanitation, inventory, and product tracking. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hershey, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
