Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Observe all expectations for quality, and safety Assist production with breaks and lunches as needed. Meet or exceed company expectations for production performance to maximize sales o Knowledge of SQF, GMP’s, SOP’s, and HACCP, and other food process sanitation requirements Report any/all food safety or food quality issues immediately to supervision or QA Perform related duties as assigned by sanitation lead or other leadership Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures o Ensures optimal staffing for the shifts, track attendance, and implement sanitation schedule.
- Maintains proper inventory levels of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Reports any/all food safety issues for immediate corrective actions. Maintains a positive working relationship with all departments within the manufacturing facility. Covers all electrical panels/outlets before washing. Ensures that working lines are protected from overspray and cross contamination. Cleans and sanitizes production areas as defined in department specific cleaning form. Removes machine parts (belts, rollers, guards etc) and take them to be cleaned and sanitized
- reassembles once cleaned. Ensures internal drains are clean and working. Maintains plant cleanliness (i.e., Empties scrap bins compactor
- cleans empty bins
- cleans compactor area) Clean out of Place (COP) room
- washes all bins, trays, machine parts
- ensure that they are sanitized
- air dry larger machine parts.
Cleans other plant areas per master sanitation schedule. Uses motorized pallet jack, scissor lift, and forklift to access or move equipment. Depositing and baling cardboard in appropriate baler for recycling. Depositing garbage in appropriate receptacles. Cleaning restrooms and breakroom. Safely working with a variety of chemicals. Notifying management of equipment that is not working properly. Rotates positions to learn the complexities of cleaning each piece of machinery. Performing other duties as assigned by sanitation lead or other management. Properly utilize labor resources to improve efficiency, minimize labor expense and reduce waste. Rework all product as needed, do not waste product. Notify production lead of any waste issues and/or machine malfunctions. Clean up line continuously throughout shift. Able to work extended hours, available for overtime and weekend work as required. Provide outstanding customer service to our partners. Implement actions as needed to prevent food safety and food quality issues. Ensure Production Floor is SQF ready
EVERYDAY.
